The artist:
Alex Remy is a freelance artist, musician, and teacher. Her work has won several awards and appears in private collections across the United States. She has been featured in JUMP! magazine, alongside acclaimed screenwriter Joss Whedon in the anthology Nothing But Red, and commissioned for the cover of SLCC Community Writing Center's sine cera magazine. She has also presented workshops for the SLCC Community Writing Center and UtahArtsFest. Previously, Alex ran an arts and music program at a center for disadvantaged youth. She and her husband live in Salt Lake City, Utah with their two cats and dog.

The blog (previously creative evolutions) was originally founded to track one person's artistic growth following a career change. It has since developed into an interactive scrapbook, offering miscellaneous videos, items of interest, and links, along with first glimpses and opportunities to purchase original art. Additionally, you can access the main site to find information about taking private art lessons, as well as making commission requests.
